About The Position

Eventide Prairie Commons is seeking a Part-Time Medication Aide (MA40) to join their team. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and administering medications under the direction of an RN. The position requires an active MA40 and CNA license, and offers a competitive hourly wage with potential shift premiums.

Requirements

Active, good-standing MA40 license required.
Active CNA license required.
18 years of age or older.
Active CNA license in the state of NE required
Active MA40 license in the state of NE required

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
Assists with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary.
Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by insuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
Prepares and administers medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.
