About The Position
Seeking Medication Aide's to join our team in assisted living and healthcare departments. This is a PART-TIME position with current shift opportunities available: 7a-3p and 3p-11p. Under the direct supervision of our LPN's, the Medication Aide is responsible for ensuring residents receive medications and treatments as indicated on the eMAR, and assisting residents with their ADLs as needed. The role also requires maintaining clinical and professional competency.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved Medication Technician program in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Medication Aide License (Required)
- Certified Nursing Assistant License (Required)
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Good assessment, communication, clinical and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to communicate in English
Nice To Haves
- Previous Medication Aide experience is a plus
- Experience in an assisted living setting
