About The Position
Derby Assisted Living is hiring a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Part-Time position! This is an excellent opportunity for a CNA looking for a consistent Part-Time schedule of every other weekend and one day a week. As a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant at Derby Assisted Living, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to our residents while helping create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Requirements

- Available to work every other weekend and one day a week
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers
- Help with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
- Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs
- Take and record vital signs as directed
- Observe residents and report changes in condition to the appropriate nurse
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and coworkers
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
