Medication Aide - Full-Time
About The Position
CountryHouse Lincoln III, an Agemark Senior Living community in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to care for seniors and contribute to their daily well-being. The role includes administering medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans, maintaining accurate records, monitoring residents for changes or side effects, and promptly reporting concerns. The Medication Aide also assists residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence, builds relationships with residents, families, and team members, and helps create a positive, compassionate environment. The position is full-time and requires availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday. The successful candidate has completed Nebraska’s required 40-hour Medication Aide certification and communicates professionally, follows medication procedures carefully, uses electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation, and is dependable and interested in helping older adults.
Requirements

- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.

- Basic computer skills to use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
- Genuine interest in helping older adults.
- Dependable and available to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
- Document medication administration accurately.
- Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
- Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
- Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
