Requirements
- Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification valid in Nebraska.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in working with older adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
- Dependability and a team-first attitude.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Safely provide medications according to physician orders and resident care plans.
- Maintain clear and timely medication administration records.
- Watch for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and communicate them promptly to nursing staff.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence.
- Get to know our residents and create positive experiences throughout each shift.
- Work alongside supportive coworkers who value compassion, accountability, and teamwork.
