About The Position
Spring Arbor Cottages of Salisbury is hiring compassionate and dependable team members to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. If you enjoy caring for seniors and want a position where you can make a difference every shift, we'd love to meet you! We are looking for a Medication Aide, Med Tech, or RMA for full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities in Midlothian, VA.
Requirements
- Current Virginia medication aide/medication administration certification or required medication training
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Able to meet applicable background and company employment requirements
Nice To Haves
- Senior living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care experience preferred
- CNA/PCA experience is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required based on state regulations
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with medications according to Virginia guidelines
- Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, and other daily needs
- Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the care team
- Maintain accurate resident documentation
- Work closely with nursing and resident care team members
- Provide friendly, compassionate customer service to residents and families
- Participate in resident activities as needed
