CMT / Medication Aide / Med Tech – Assisted Living Spring Arbor of Severna Park is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) / Medication Aide / Med Tech to join our Assisted Living team. Requirements
- MUST have 6+ months of Medication Aide / Med Tech experience
- CMT certification required per state guidelines
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous Medication Technician / CMT experience required
- Must successfully complete background screening and drug screening requirements
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year of healthcare or caregiving experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Experience with dementia care a plus
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and document appropriately per physician orders and state regulations
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, and incontinence care
- Maintain accurate resident documentation and service records
- Observe residents and report any changes in condition to nursing leadership
- Communicate effectively with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care
- Promote a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
- Support daily programming and community operations as needed
