Requirements

  • Must be a Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech) or Qualified Medication Aide (QMAP).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in assisted living or a related healthcare setting.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments to residents as prescribed.
  • Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents.
