About The Position

Humana is seeking skilled Medicare Sales Field Agents to join their MarketPoint Career Channel Team. This field-based role requires candidates to live in the designated territory to serve their local community. Agents will work as part of a collaborative team under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director. The role involves educating individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and other offerings, creating meaningful connections through grassroots marketing and community events, and driving self-generated sales to expand Humana's presence. Interactions will include a mix of in-person, virtual, and phone communications, with a significant focus on face-to-face visits in prospective members' homes.

Requirements

  • Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain.
  • Must reside in the designated local territory to effectively serve the community.
  • Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members’ homes and engaging with the community through service, organizations, volunteer work, or local events.
  • Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
  • Must have a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps for internet service; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
  • Must work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
  • Prior experience selling Medicare products.
  • Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.

Responsibilities

  • Build trust and educate individuals on Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
  • Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits—providing a personalized experience that sets Humana apart.
  • Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana’s presence in the market by becoming a valued resource in your community.
  • Engage with customers in the FIELD through a mix of in-person, virtual, and phone interactions.
  • Conduct face-to-face visits in prospective members’ homes.
