About The Position

Humana is seeking skilled Medicare Field Sales Agents to join their MarketPoint Career Channel Team. This is a field-based role requiring candidates to live in the designated territory to serve their local community. As part of a collaborative team of 8–12 Medicare Sales Agents, you will work under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director. The role involves delivering on fundamentals, differentiating through exceptional service, and growing Humana's reach and impact by educating individuals on Medicare Advantage plans and other offerings, creating meaningful connections through grassroots marketing and community events, and driving self-generated sales. Interactions will include a mix of in-person, virtual, and phone, with a significant focus on face-to-face visits in prospective members’ homes.

Requirements

  • Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain.
  • Must reside in the designated local territory to effectively serve the community.
  • Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members’ homes.
  • Comfortable engaging with the community through service, organizations, volunteer work, or local events.
  • Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
  • First five weeks of employment and attendance is mandatory for training.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
  • Prior experience selling Medicare products.
  • Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.
