Medicare Sales Field Agent - Highlands County
About The Position
Humana is seeking accomplished Medicare Field Sales Agents for a field-based role in Highlands County. This position is part of a collaborative team of 8-12 Medicare Sales Agents, working under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director. The role involves delivering on fundamentals, differentiating through exceptional service, and growing Humana's presence by expanding reach and influence. Agents will build trust, educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings, create meaningful connections through grassroots marketing and community events, and drive self-generated sales to meet performance goals.
Requirements
- Active Health Insurance License required.
- Must reside in Highlands or Hardee County.
- Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, at community-based events, and engaging with the community through service, retail environment, organizations, volunteer work, or local events.
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
- Self-provided internet service with at least a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
Nice To Haves
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
- Background in selling Medicare products.
- Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
- Background in supporting Value Based Care organizations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.
