About The Position

We are seeking a Medicare Licensed Sales Agent to join our growing team at Avant Specialty Benefits as we expand into the direct-to-consumer Medicare market. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to build expertise in Medicare sales while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has insurance sales experience and is eager to specialize in helping seniors navigate their Medicare options.

Requirements

Active Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Minimum 1+ years of insurance or sales experience (Medicare experience preferred but not required)
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Customer-focused approach with genuine desire to help others
Ability to learn complex product information quickly
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, phone-based sales environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems

Nice To Haves

Previous Medicare or health insurance sales experience
Experience in direct-to-consumer sales
Knowledge of Medicare basics (Parts A, B, C, D)
Bilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct consultative Medicare sales through inbound and outbound calls
Educate consumers on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plan options
Guide prospects through the enrollment process with patience and expertise
Meet and exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions in CRM system
Follow up with prospects and provide ongoing customer service as needed
Comply with all Medicare regulations and company policies
