About The Position

This role is responsible for managing medical waste from accumulation, storage, treatment, and disposal. The position also involves maintaining the cleanliness of medical waste storage areas, managing medical waste inventory for accurate government reporting, and supporting Hazardous Waste Storage Area (HWSA) operations. Additionally, the role supports emergency spill responses for Oil & Hazardous Substances and performs other related duties to meet organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Guidance and leadership skills to work within an established team at the HWSA & HSE.
• Excellent customer service skills to support Clients and Island Tenants.
• Good knowledge and understanding of HM/HW Management practices and techniques applicable to overseas HM/HW Generators facilities operations.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion of multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities without supervision.
• Administrative, organizational, and computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
• Must have a valid driver's license with license codes (B, B1, B2, C, D) or a valid country of origin’s driver’s license.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, stake truck, box truck, and other assigned vehicle/s.

Responsibilities

• Managing medical waste accumulation, storage, treatment, and disposal.
• Maintaining general cleanliness and housekeeping of medical waste storage areas.
• Maintaining medical waste inventory from collection to incineration for accurate reporting.
• Supporting HWSA operations including waste collection, processing for storage, and disposal.
• Supporting Oil & Hazardous Substances emergency spill responses.
• Performing other work-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
