About The Position
Crystal Springs Inc. is seeking a full-time Transportation Aide to join their team. This entry-level role involves accompanying students on medical appointments, providing safe transportation, and offering personal care and instructional support. When not transporting students, the aide will work in a classroom as a Teacher's Aide, providing direct care and assisting with educational and therapeutic services. The position requires flexibility in weekday work hours to accommodate varying appointment times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to pass a tuberculosis (TB) test

Responsibilities
- Provide safe transportation for students to medical appointments.
- Facilitate communication between nursing staff and medical professionals.
- Offer personal care and instructional support to students unable to attend class due to illness.
- Contribute to the cleanliness of the vans.
- Accept feedback, attend meetings and trainings, and implement positive behavior support practices.
- Work in a classroom as a Teacher's Aide when not involved in transportation services.
- Provide direct care and assist with educational and therapeutic services as a Teacher's Aide.
- Contribute to student progress evaluations.
