About The Position
The Medical Transport Specialist is responsible for providing and facilitating non-emergency patient transportation. Responsible for transporting patients from the pickup location to their destination in a timely manner. Maintain a clean vehicle and work space. Responsible for providing kind and safe transportation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Calmly and efficiently perform and make appropriate decisions rapidly under stress in emergency situations
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to follow instructions
- Is familiar with age specific needs for the patient population served
- Must be 21 years of age
- For-hire driver’s license (Class E) or greater (CDL). Driving record will be reviewed upon hire, and any previous violations must be approved.
Nice To Haves
- Current Missouri licensure as E.M.T.
