About The Position

The Medical Telemetry / Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients with acute medical and neurological conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience
• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license
• Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)

Nice To Haves

• BSN
• Experience in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or Neuro units
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Analyze clinical data to identify nursing diagnoses and care priorities
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
• Advocate for patient safety, quality outcomes, and evidence-based care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain efficient use of time, supplies, and clinical resources
