About The Position
A healthcare facility located about an hour west of Tallahassee, FL is looking for a travel Medical Technologist for a 13-week contract. This role involves obtaining specimens from patients and performing established clinical tests and procedures according to policy. The Medical Technologist will also be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance on lab instruments and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospital setting
- FL Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
- Ability to work independently
- Phlebotomy skills required on occasion
- ASCP certification
Responsibilities
- Obtain specimens from patients
