Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Clinical Laboratory, Medical Technology, Biological Science, or a related field and five years of progressive experience as a Medical Technologist or related.
  • Experience Requires a Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (or eligible).
  • Require experience with clinical laboratory testing including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and clinical chemistry; and troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of analyzers and lab equipment.
  • Require ability to work at night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical laboratory testing including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis and clinical Chemistry testing.
  • Analyze and report test results.
  • Perform and document Quality Control procedures.
  • Report significant deviations and document corrective actions.
  • Maintain a minimum inventory of reagents and supplies to ensure adequate patient care.
