About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory Services and the direct supervision of a Medical Technologist Coordinator, the Medical Technologist provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance with accepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care.
Requirements
- Minimum Associate Degree
- Completion of approved training program for Medical Technologist
- MT (ASCP or AMT) certification or equivalent
- Must be CLIA qualified for high complexity testing
- Certification per unit specific competency (i.e. BLS, CPI, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Previous experience in clinical laboratory preferred
