About The Position

This highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging role collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide timely and accurate laboratory results and the best possible patient care. The position is at Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, a 46-bed acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas, serving Midlothian and northern Ellis County. The hospital provides emergency care, advanced surgery, imaging, and labor and delivery, and has digital and medical technologies, robotic surgery capabilities, and a cardiac catheterization lab.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or a related area of specialty, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education demonstrating comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• For individuals educated outside the United States, an equivalency statement from a business dedicated to education translation services showing equivalence to the stated requirements.
• Certification or registration as a Medical Technologist, or eligibility for certification or registration.
• ASCP certifications received after January 2004 and AMT certifications received after January 2006 must be kept current through continuing education required by the respective associations.
• Certified Medical Technologist work experience.
