About The Position

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, the Medical Technologist collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide timely and accurate laboratory results and support excellent patient care.

The position is at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas. The hospital provides services including Level III Trauma, NICU, and Maternal Care and has advanced technology and patient-centered design. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or a related area of specialty, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education that provides comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• For individuals educated outside the United States, an education translation or equivalency statement from a business dedicated to this service that demonstrates equivalence to the stated education requirements.
• Certification or registration as a Medical Technologist, or eligibility for certification or registry.
• ASCP certifications received after January 2004 and AMT certifications received after January 2006 must be kept current through continuing education as required by the respective associations.
• Certified Medical Technologist work experience.
