About The Position

The Medical Technologist performs laboratory testing that supports accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions. The role uses and maintains medical laboratory equipment, analyzes and verifies laboratory data, maintains quality-control standards and regulatory compliance, and collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver timely, accurate results. The position is described as PRN and as a full-time nights schedule in different parts of the posting.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Laboratory Science from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technologist in a hospital laboratory setting, including Blood Bank experience.
• Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain it within the first week of employment.

Nice To Haves

• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
