About The Position

Provide laboratory information based on the performance of analytical tests on human body substances. Correlate and interpret test data to detect evidence of or prevent disease or impairment and to promote and monitor good health. Monitor quality assurance and maintain laboratory instrumentation including all documentation. Follow established guidelines and protocols to provide requested clinical information to physicians, nurses, and other relevant health care personnel. Perform phlebotomy duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology
• 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory in the same or similar discipline
• Clinical laboratory scientist certification through CGFNS
• Medical laboratory scientist certification by one of the following: ASCP, AMT, NCA, or AAB
