Performs basic through advanced testing procedures on patient and/or donor samples and interprets results in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies and procedures. The work schedule is Monday - Thursday, on 3rd shift, 9:00 pm - 7:00 am, with rotating holiday coverage required. Initial training is for 2 weeks, Monday - Friday, on 1st shift, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Following day-shift orientation, the schedule will transition to a night schedule, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, until completion of training and independent sign-off. Based upon when hours are worked, the position may include a 3rd shift and weekend differential of $7.50 - $12.00 per hour.
