About The Position

The Medical Technologist performs patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis, results reporting, instrument maintenance, and technical problem resolution. The role requires a service-committed, detail-oriented individual who can perform complex data analysis, exercise sound independent judgment, and demonstrate critical-thinking skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Sciences.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist, MLS (ASCP), MT (ASCP), AMT, or MT (AAB).

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Medical Technology.
• Specialist certification in the relevant discipline, such as SH (ASCP), SM (ASCP), SBB (ASCP), or SC (ASCP).

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens and establish and maintain positive specimen identification.
• Determine specimen suitability.
• Acquire and prepare reagents as needed.
• Perform instrument maintenance and calibration.
• Perform patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis, and results reporting.
• Resolve technical problems.
