About The Position
The Medical Technologist - Per Diem will demonstrate proficiency and understanding of lab analyses and evaluating report results to appropriate personnel. This role involves performing established procedures for test quality and quality assurance procedures for equipment and reagents, as well as evaluating new procedures. Schedule flexibility is required, with possible opportunities on the II shift, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Must meet one of the following: Bachelors degree in a chemical, physical, biological or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution, Associates degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined by CLIA.
- ASCP strongly preferred.
