Under the general direction of the Technical Supervisor, provides ancillary support for clinical activities by performance and appropriate interpretation of moderate and high complexity clinical laboratory tests as defined under CLIA '88. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with day shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays. The role involves performing and interpreting complex laboratory tests, acting as a resource for laboratory users, reviewing testing performed by other staff, prioritizing samples, and ensuring accurate specimen identification and processing. Responsibilities also include instrument maintenance, quality control procedures, result transcription, and communication of critical values. The position supports the education of students and new staff, participates in committees, and maintains a safe and organized work environment.
