About The Position
A facility near Columbus, OH is seeking a Medical Technologist, Chemistry to join their laboratory team! This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a day shift schedule that includes rotating weekends and holidays. The Medical Technologist, Chemistry performs moderate- and high-complexity testing across all laboratory departments, with primary expertise in clinical chemistry, ensuring accurate and timely patient results. This role serves as a chemistry resource by troubleshooting instrumentation, assisting with method validation, resolving complex result discrepancies, and providing technical guidance to laboratory staff. The position also involves maintaining quality assurance through calibration, quality control, proficiency testing, and compliance with CAP, CLIA, and laboratory policies while supporting efficient laboratory operations.
Requirements
- MT certification from AMT or ASCP
- Previous medical lab experience required
Nice To Haves
- Previous blood bank experience preferred
