About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) for a travel assignment at a major acute care hospital campus. This position requires flexibility to work rotating day/night shifts based on operational needs and may include floating to similar patient care units.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of permanent RN experience in specialty prior to travel assignments required
- Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required
- Travel experience accepted toward recent specialty experience requirement
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required at submission
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Strong telemetry and acute care nursing skills required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to patient condition changes appropriately
- Administer medications, treatments, and patient education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting
- Float to similar units as needed to support patient care operations
