Requirements

1 year of recent (within last year) of Observation/Med-Surge Acute Care RN experience.
Open to candidates with ER RN experience
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Registered Nurse.
Bachelor’s Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
Florida RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active Florida RN license required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
Act as an advocate for patient safety.
Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
