Requirements

  • Hardworking, self-motivated medical professional passionate about making a difference in the lives of disabled veterans.
  • At least one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Nurse Tech, or Medical Receptionist. Work in a Customer Care role may be considered.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with veterans over the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment, with access to reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
  • Must be within Tennessee to be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Affinity for learning.
  • Knowledge of VA benefits and the claims process is preferred but not required as the selected applicant will undergo extensive training.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the dedicated Medical Team and the veterans served.
  • Conduct pre-scheduled phone conversations with clients to discuss upcoming medical exams related to their disability claims.
  • Assist the Client Care team as needed.
  • Identify claims most valuable to veterans' unique medical conditions.
