About The Position
As a Medical Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate care to patients. You will work under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. Your contributions will directly impact the patient experience and the efficiency of our healthcare team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.
Nice To Haves
- At least one (1) year of related experience.
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
- Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients.
- Measure and record vital signs, contributing to patient assessments.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and readiness.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective patient care.
