The Medical Staff Coordinator, PRN, will be responsible for processing initial and reappointment applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy, and performing primary source verification of confidential and sensitive practitioner information. This role also involves privileging for physicians and advanced practice professionals/allied health practitioners, maintaining the credentialing database, auditing files, and monitoring/reporting application status. The position requires practical knowledge in credentialing databases, regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, CMS), Credentials Committee and Medical Executive Committee activities, and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE).
