About The Position

This is a remote consulting role for experienced locum tenens hospitalists and Internal Medicine physicians. The specialist reviews adult inpatient medical records and clinical documentation, assesses medication-related information, and evaluates the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and evidentiary support of clinical information used in AI training and evaluation. Work includes structured chart review, clinical reasoning, and documentation quality assurance; it does not involve in-person hospital shifts. The role involves reviewing clinical notes and structured healthcare data, including FHIR resources, and providing clear, structured written evaluations. Specialists apply hospital medicine expertise and established review guidelines to identify unsupported conclusions, missing or inconsistent information, and documentation errors, then provide actionable feedback to improve AI model performance and clinical data quality. The engagement is freelance/contract, fully remote, and limited to professionals in the United States. Compensation is output-based and paid per completed task that meets project specifications. Task completion times may vary, and minimum weekly task submission requirements apply. The posting states 50 openings. The advertised compensation is inconsistent: the heading lists $80–$115 per hour, while the engagement details list an advertised range of $80–$125 per hour.
