About The Position

We are Eagle Integrated Solutions, (EIS). We are a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nations. EIS is looking for a candidate to provide professional Medical Simulation Operator support to aid in the mission accomplishment of the School of Aerospace Medicine, 711 HPW.

Requirements

  • Current and maintain a National Registered Paramedic (NRP) certification.
  • Paramedic equivalent medical knowledge (with RN level preferred) as the Simulation operator in order to be able to manipulate physiological data and interpret participants response to simulated scenarios.
  • Current Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification
  • Five years of clinical experience in military or civilian setting
  • At least (2) years’ experience with programming of human patient simulators using primarily Laerdal, Gaumard & CAE simulator operating systems.
  • Prior experience in course development and education methodology.
  • Knowledge of military trauma clinical skills, procedures, processes to include: AFMS Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs), understanding of applicable Air Force and professional standards.
  • Knowledge of military and civilian guidelines, policy & procedure through successful completion of USAFSAM’s and Department’s orientation programs is required.
  • Ability to lift < 50 pounds and move human patient simulation equipment to and from training areas, work in low-light, high-volume environments, and differing weather conditions simulating actual aeromedical evacuation missions.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of military medical/military deployment experience.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Audio/visual solutions, moulage creation & application, hyper-realistic simulators, and task-trainers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and support on operating a high-fidelity patient simulator system.
  • Assist in developing metrics to validate a simulation-based team-training program.
  • Assist with the use of advanced learning technologies and methodologies to improve medical education and training for healthcare teams for the purpose of improving patient outcomes.
  • Provide digital video recording support, maintenance of existing equipment, analysis of team training measures, design of simulation scenarios, and technical expertise in running simulators within a constrained/controlled simulation environment.
  • Provide support for digital video recording and simulators for other training platforms.
