HSHS is seeking a Medical Secretary to join our Cardiology clinic. The successful candidate will perform office duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic or laboratory procedures. Duties may include scheduling appointments, registering and checking-in patients, verifying insurance benefits and authorization, reconciling charges, collecting departmental performance improvement data, generating procedure reports and other secretarial duties such as managing telephone calls, typing and filing.
