Ipsen Pharma GmbH is seeking a Medical Science Liaison Manager for Rare Diseases in the South West region of Germany (Köln – Trier – Saarbrücken – Speyer – Frankfurt a. Main - Aschaffenburg – Gießen). This role supports the Medical Team in Germany and focuses on identifying and developing relationships with national and regional medical and scientific Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) consistent with the strategy and objectives of Medical Affairs and overall Ipsen strategies. The position involves engaging in scientific exchange and education about current and emerging therapies in a compliant fashion with KOLs, including advisory boards, individual meetings, and congresses. The role requires developing and maintaining scientific, clinical, and therapeutic expertise in Rare Diseases, representing the company at educational events, medical meetings, and scientific conventions. Additionally, the MSL Manager will collaborate with clinical development to identify sites for Ipsen trials and disease concepts for product differentiation, and serve as a valued scientific partner through innovative initiatives and scientific communication. The role also provides scientific, clinical, and educational support to internal cross-functional customers, supports medical publications, assists commercial operations with training, and leads/participates in special project teams. A key aspect is supporting cross-functional teams to ensure patient-focused operations and responding to internal and external requests for medical affairs support.
