About The Position

We are seeking a Medical Scheduler to support a busy healthcare practice by managing a high volume of patient communications and appointment scheduling activities. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
Previous call center or high-volume phone experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience working in a fast-paced medical environment
Proficient computer and data entry skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Medical/Healthcare experience
Appointment Scheduling
Customer Service
EMR/EHR systems experience
Call Center experience

Responsibilities

Handle 60-100 inbound patient calls daily
Schedule and reschedule patient appointments
Process referrals and prescription refill requests
Verify patient registration and insurance information
Assist with billing-related inquiries and account collection processes
Answer incoming calls and direct requests to the appropriate provider or department
Support patient check-in and check-out activities as needed
Maintain accurate patient information within the EMR system
Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
Assist other office personnel with administrative duties as needed
