About The Position

OHIOGUIDESTONE HAS LAUNCHED A NEW INITIATIVE TO BRING PRIMARY PHYSICAL HEALTH SERVICES TO COMPLIMENT THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES WE TRADITIONALLY OFFER! WE HAVE A NEWLY ESTABLISHED HEALTH CENTER FOCUSED ON AN INTEGRATED, WHOLE-PERSON APPROACH TO CARE—ADDRESSING PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND PREVENTIVE HEALTH NEEDS IN A COLLABORATIVE SETTING. WE STRIVE TO IMPROVE PATIENT OUTCOMES BY COMBINING COMPASSIONATE CARE WITH INNOVATIVE OUTREACH AND EDUCATION. WE ARE SEEKING A MOTIVATED AND PERSONABLE STUDENT INTERN INTERESTED IN HEALTHCARE, SALES, AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. THIS ROLE PROVIDES HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL SALES STRATEGIES, PATIENT OUTREACH, AND PRACTICE GROWTH. THE INTERN WILL PLAY A KEY ROLE IN INCREASING PATIENT VOLUME BY BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS, PROMOTING SERVICES, AND SUPPORTING MARKETING INITIATIVES.

Requirements

  • Current student or recent graduate (Business, Marketing, Pre-Med, Biology, Public Health, or related field preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in healthcare, wellness, or medical sales
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable engaging with community members and professionals

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with social media or marketing tools
  • Basic understanding of healthcare systems or patient care models
  • Sales, customer service, or outreach experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing patient outreach strategies to increase awareness and appointments
  • Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, gyms, and schools
  • Educate potential patients and partners about the center’s integrated, whole-person care model
  • Support referral network development with other healthcare providers
  • Conduct market research to identify target demographics and growth opportunities
  • Assist with social media, email campaigns, and promotional events
  • Track outreach efforts and help analyze effectiveness of marketing strategies
  • Provide general administrative support related to patient acquisition efforts
