As a Medical Research Associate/Phlebotomist at ICON, you will be responsible for meeting/greeting clinical research volunteers as they come into the clinic, checking their vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, BMI).

Requirements

  • Relevant clinical research operations experience.
  • A strong command of both English and the host country's language is essential.
  • A High School Diploma or G.E.D. qualification.
  • If you possess an undergraduate degree in a clinical or health-related area, or have equivalent work experience in a similar role, we want to hear from you.
  • 1+ years of work experience in a medical or clinical field is preferred.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Phlebotomist Certification.
  • Medical Assistant background.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant background.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting/greeting clinical research volunteers as they come into the clinic.
  • Checking their vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, BMI).
  • Delivering clinical research operations work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders.
  • Taking vital signs and performing phlebotomy on study subjects, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the research process.
  • Following clients' protocols when conducting vital sign assessments and phlebotomy procedures.
  • Active participation in meetings and other assignments.
  • Chaperoning study subjects during their breaks outside, offering personalized care and ensuring their comfort.
