About The Position
The Bradley Center is seeking a Medical Records Technician to organize and direct the activities of the Medical Records Department. The Bradley Center is a residential treatment facility that has been serving children and families in need since 1905, providing 24-hour care and trauma-informed treatment to children with a history of trauma and a wide range of challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in the Health Information Management or related field required
- Knowledge of regulatory agency standards including Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and HCFA required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational skills
- Analytical thinking
- Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy laws
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Maintains accuracy of all client related charts
- Tracks deficiencies and keeps staff and supervisors informed
- Ensures all documentation is filed in a timely manner
- Completing record requests
