About The Position

Miller's Health Systems is seeking a well-organized and detail-oriented CNA/QMA, LPN, or RN to join their team as a Medical Records Designee. This role involves auditing and maintaining resident records in compliance with state and federal regulations, managing the release of information, preparing transfer documentation, and generating reports for Quality Assurance meetings. The ideal candidate is licensed in Indiana, highly organized, passionate about customer service, professional, and a team player.

Requirements

Licensed to work as a CNA/QMA, LPN, or RN in the state of Indiana.
At least one year of experience in a long term care setting.
Highly organized.
Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
Professional in appearance and behavior.
Able to work with a dedicated team.
Able to audit and maintain records of admissions and in-house residents according to and in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Auditing and maintaining records of admissions, discharges, and in-house residents in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Controlling release of information to authorized persons/entities.
Preparing and/or obtaining necessary transfer information when residents transfer to or from another facility.
Preparing necessary reports for Quality Assurance meetings.
Auditing and maintaining records of admissions and in-house residents according to and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintaining and controlling the release of information to authorized persons.
Monitoring routinely residents mantoux reports and chest x-rays.
Entering data from Physicians Order form into computerized health record system.
Monitoring frequency of physician visits and notifying physicians when they are due for visits.
Carrying out additional duties as assigned.
