About The Position

The primary purpose of the Medical Records Coordinator is to maintain resident medical records and health information systems in accordance with current federal and state guidelines as well as in accordance with our facility's established privacy policies and procedures. Also will be in charge of Central Supply and is responsible for managing the facility’s medical and general supply inventory. This role ensures that essential items are ordered, stocked, and distributed efficiently to support resident care and daily operations.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Medical Records Coordinator in skilled nursing required.
  • Knowledgeable of medical terminology (IDT-10).
  • Knowledgeable in computers, data retrieval, input and output functions.
  • Knowledgeable in legal aspects of health information, coding, indexing, etc.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred.
