About The Position

As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily management and oversight of medical records functions for the Viera Campus. You will maintain records on Devereux clients for assigned programs. This role requires the ability to maintain reliable and accurate medical records, stay in compliance with all HIPPA regulations, and demonstrate excellent customer service by responding in a timely manner to requests from outside and inside customers in a professional and courteous manner. The position will oversee the conversion and maintenance of the electronic health record.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years' administrative experience required.
  • Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum two years’ experience working in a Medical Records Department preferred.
  • One year in mental health preferred.
