Opportunity Overview We have an immediate opening for an Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, Maryland. Schedule: Monday though Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Following 90 day intro period a hybrid schedule will be introduced, beginning with limited remote flexibility (e.g., 1 day per work) and expanding based on performance, proficiency, and demonstrated ability to work independently.) Compensation: $20 to $23 per hour (commensurate with experience) This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes correctly
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with patients
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple applications and electronic systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to take initiative and problem-solve

Responsibilities

  • Manually enter information from patient requests into the system accurately
  • Look up patient information and update patient forms submitted electronically
  • Perform outbound calls to patients as needed
  • Navigate various applications to retrieve and update patient data
  • Prioritize and manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
  • Decipher different processes and apply them correctly based on the situation
  • Communicate effectively with team members and patients
  • Work independently while also contributing as a team player
  • Take initiative to solve problems and improve workflow processes
