About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk to join their team at Farmington Correctional Center in Farmington, Missouri. This role is responsible for initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to requests for health records, and performing clerical duties. The Medical Records Clerk will work closely with healthcare staff to ensure the maintenance and accountability of offender health records to support continuity of care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
- Computer/Data entry experience
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- One year of medical office experience preferred
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification
- Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred
