About The Position

Centurion is seeking a part-time Medical Records Clerk to join their team at Rockville Correctional Facility in Rockville, Indiana. This role involves performing administrative duties and supporting program and staff needs. Responsibilities include routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments (both internal and for off-site patient appointments), organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and creating various spreadsheets and reports. The position requires working with patient consults, auditing consults and grievance logs/roll-up reports, and extensive use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Minimum of one (1) year of administrative or office experience required
Must have experience with medical terminology
Good communication and organizational skills, professional phone etiquette, and accurate typing skills
Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
