Under general supervision, the Medical Records Assistant is responsible for the organization, operation, and management of the Coastal Regional Center record department. Maintains total responsibility of Service Tracking System (STS) to include statistical data, census system, and major problems/prognosis list database. Responsible for direct census tracking procedure for all residential units. Ensure that census is recorded and entered into the census database on a daily basis. Provide training as needed to Ensures that updated census sheets are accurate for recording the census. Maintains responsibility of the STS spreadsheet to include statistical data and records, census system, and major problems/prognosis. Enters data into Consumer Data Support System and generates reports from Accurate Reporting Application (R2D2) for OIDD-Coastal. Transitions reports into the electronic record system, Therap. Supervises the release of information to requesters, maintaining HIPAA compliance. Maintains supplies and equipment requests as well as other duties as assigned. The position for this posting is located at Coastal Regional Center, an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID) of BHDD-OIDD located in Summerville, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
