About The Position
Reviews medical records for content and completeness. Identifies and flags them for the appropriate medical staff member to complete. Data enters deficiency into record software. This is not a Remote position, Candidate must be able to work at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany NY.
Requirements
- 1 – 3 years' experience in a medical record department, patient care area or physician office is required to have an overall understanding of the medical record and its components.
- AAS in secretarial science or equivalent education / experience.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes medical records for documentation deficiencies and missing reports with accuracy.
- Assemble and analyzes assigned workload.
- Maintains data integrity.
- Maintains integrity of the medical record.
