As a Receptionist, you will manage front desk operations in a healthcare setting while delivering excellent customer service to patients and visitors. You will support patient scheduling, communication, record maintenance, and several administrative tasks to help ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience. As a Receptionist, you'll welcome patients and offer administrative support within a physician practice or center. This may include the following responsibilities: Greet Patients: Welcome patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone. Schedule Appointments: Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to improve schedules. Patient Records: Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy. Work in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit. Inquiries and Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information. Office Management: Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
